It was absolutely incredible! We got groundling tickets for five pounds, which meant that we had to stand the whole time, but it was so good I hardly noticed. And yes, it was absolutely amazing. The actors were incredible, and it was all so well performed and engaging and entertaining. We were right up against the side of the stage, so sometimes I'd just rest my elbows up on the stage as I leaned forward to watch. The actors would also walk right up to the edge of the stage, sometimes so close that you could almost touch them! It was drizzling again that day as well, so our spot was good because we were mostly covered by the awning that was over the bulk of the stage, so I didn't get wet at all. I think that it's been one of my very most favorite things about this whole experience so far.
Beautiful flowers that were on the stage! The pictures that had me in them are on someone else's camera.
The British Library was really insane. We went into where all of their awesome papers were. They had Jane Austen's writing desk and her journal/early writings from her teenage years, Handel's Messiah, like the original, the First Folio, the Magna Carta, stuff from the Bible dating back to 400 AD (which if you didn't know, is about as far back as we have stuff from the Bible) and also a Gutenburg Bible and it was absolutely amazing! They didn't let us take any pictures, so this is a picture of me in front of the boring building.
Yeah, boring building. Awesome stuff inside.
Yeah, so that evening after dinner we went for a walk. I'd actually already been on this walk, but all of my friends were really hyper and I felt like getting out of the center, so I went along. It was The City walk, and I don't think I did it properly the first time, because we saw different stuff. And I finally got the coveted red telephone booth picture.
Me in a phone booth! Amy says I look seductive.
